A Wi-Fi module connects the indoor unit to your home network. The manufacturer’s app then lets you switch it on and off, change mode and temperature, and set timers from anywhere. Many systems also work with voice assistants and smart home platforms.

Often, yes. Many manufacturers sell Wi-Fi adapters for recent models, and third-party controllers can work with many older units by mimicking the infrared remote. We can check compatibility during a service visit.
Is smart control worth it?
For most households it is. It’s inexpensive on new systems, makes air conditioning more convenient, and helps you avoid running units when nobody needs them. If you’re choosing a new system, ask for Wi-Fi control as part of your installation quote.
